Pre birthday Bash-cum moon sun story

Yesterday, my colleges celebrated a mini pre birthday bash in the office during our lunch time..it was heartwarming, it is a ritual to celebrate everyone birthday and mini request for food (can be done if available) i requested for hagan Dazz ice cream(vanilla) ...ya ya very boring flavour...but I jus love it lor....oooohhh we saw rainbow rite infront of our office building...i am blessed even the sky also wan to celebrate my birthday...i got a story suddenly about the moon , the sky and the sun....

This is to celebrate the Moon cake festival ;here it goes;

The moon and The sun were lovers,
they had friends , the rain, the cloud ,the rainbow,
They fell in love in when there is no earth no sea and nothing below.
Then come the sky, who falls for the moon,
He want the moon for himself,
He had a plan, an evil one,
He bring along his friends, the thunder, the typhoon, the earthquakes, the floods, the drought ...
Together they split the earth into half..bringing along day and night...
To stop all this, the Moon and Sun has to part to stop all this evil doings...
The sun got to dry up the floods, the rains got to fill up the drought...
The sun have to save the Earth....
They tears to leave each other........
And they were separated by day and night, split by the sea and the sky...
Only the rain and rainbows brings them a chance .
The sky will always be there....but he will never win the Moon's heart...


So lets all eat a Mooncake..during the day to let the sun feel her love within us...( even though i don eat Mooncakess...but i feel the LOVE ......)

Aiyo... i feel so romantic now.....arrrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhh...

Smiittttttennnnnnnnnnnn...i going to look for the moon and take a nice Picture....

Bus Affair

This is dedicated to all Bus riders...

Even since i stop driving, taking a bus has been a PAIN...i still feeling the short change thing, i love driving the freedom of hopping into my own car and driving where ever i wan and when ever i want...but i have gotten used to it now..( cos not much of advantage of driving anyway..the parking fee, the ERP, the jams, the petrol , etc)

Basic rule :
1) Don expect seats; so if have...its a bonus
2) The bus holding handles , so not user family for sweaty palms like me, cos i get stares sometime when i move backwards, the next receiving passenger(standing one) will glance at me...sigh..(i paiseh lor).
3) i always wonder why, those carrying haversack and lab top can 'tong' the long journey carrying heavy things taking into consideration, the bags do hit other passengers too....( they not paiseh lor) plus i do sympathised with them since company don give labtops or no cupboards( poor people).
4) image of the people..some jus don give a hoot to the world and people around them..at least do some mirror looking ( basic ones) its very distracting cos when i see them, i cant decide to tell them or ignore them. pity them or scold them..( ok, i am kaypoh.!!!)

Seatings
1) Best seats- those with humps below( i got short legs) inside, cos sit outside seat, sure kena hit by handbags, labtops, haversacks, people armpits ....
2) worse seats- near to the 'tab card' area- the 'ti ti ti' very loud....very giddy.
3) 2nd worse seats- for the long bus one- last seat near the 'round about' in the centre.. very upright 90 degree, i sit until i wan to vomit...
4) the last row of seat ( 5 seater one) VERY hot lor and alot of loose things behind ie...water bottle, brooms and some wrappers...

Airport 8.33am 31 July 2007

Airports bring happiness to those whose going on holiday.. but sadness to those who sending their family member away for work, for studies .This is one of the case whereby it sadness for our family...

This is for the TEO family....this is a good story of sisterhood and close ties.

Today's thought is 'emotional' feeling and whole day the word kept ringing in my brain, it such a simple word ...but it meant a lot. My cousin has left for tonga already.

I did not send her to the Airport cos i feel it would be very emotional for me..cos we have been hangin out and now she probably going to leave for at least a good two years...i would feel sad and miss her...

Her eldest sister suzanna is very emotional when she called me, she said sophia left so fast in split second that she wanted a few more words with her but didnt manage to....( soph, if u read this..'don cry ..hor..)

She says it bring back memories of them when they were young where they been through some tough times..so seeing sophia leave is like( this is her exact words).," i am a parent to her when she young , i carry and kiss them but only sophia would turn away..."""i can hear her tears .....I felt so touched by her sometime even in her own silly ways...She just wanted to show how much she loves and care in her own way,,.

I must be the only not feeling all the sadness cos i know she is coming back this Dec...so i be waiting for her to be back and PARTY !! PARTY!!..

Poem for Sophia

While on my way home just now, i had a sudden urge to write a poem for my cousin who leaving for tonga..i wonder anyone writen any poem for her..i would like to share with everyone who knows her and who will get to get to know her ..in the new place...here it goes:

Dear sophia....This poem is for you,

Away she goes, to the Land of whales
The Land of whale will bring you love, the love you deserve so
Bring along our smiles and loves,
So everyday will be a bed of rose,
For those who care for you will wish you here...
For those you care will miss you so...
Be brave and be strong,
We will be there for you in thoughts and bonds
Alas, i wish you well in health, abundance in wealth
Be home soon, with your new found self.

Japanese Food corner

There is this nice eating place at far east plaza...only seat about 10 diners, it serve cheap sushi and sashimi and the chawanmushi is steam on the spot...very worth it, only thing is the owner , one man and one woman, they bit not so service oriented...so done expect too much.


But super delicious, good tuna and tako at very good fair price.must try..got to queue during dinner time and it only cater for ten to twelve so if fill up the seats..( got to have patience lor)

i also like the sushi teh at far east square...the decor is nice and the got to eat the grilled sotong the superb tempera with a glass of Umeshu....omg its soo ......heavenly.

The last place i like is RAKU at holland village...very expensive though..but the tako sashimi is so juicy and fresh....hmmmm yum yum...and i also like the pickles..alot..the seaweed and vinegar...

Yeah..i hungry liao ...hmmmm

Farewell Party (Saturday) at MOVIDA

Sophia is leaving for TONGA island....this sunday 29 July 2007 (9 pm) so if want to send her off can go airport .so i ask her to create a blog to so we can follow up with her...i had an eventful saturday outing with all my gals friend..we had margarita, 2 bottles of martell , one sumo wrestler from Japan...(real one) he flip his ......he has got security and photographer surrounding him,.....wonder wat he does..

We danced and laugh and took many photographs..everyone were kissing everyone...like a frenzy...

I going to miss all the good times when sophia gone...haiz.. before that was lynn, now lynn back sophia gone..

Anyway, all the best to her , we can go visit her in Tonga )airfare abt $1200/pax(est)..
